Adriana came to us as a yearling. She was severely malnourished, sharing a pasture with dominant mares who kept her away from her bucket at feeding time. Her condition was so severe that her patellar (knee) ligaments were underdeveloped.
Adriana's hind legs would "stick" and she would either have to hop or drag her legs. We put her on vitamins and supplements to help her grow properly and eventually she was able to move normally, running and playing with the herd. | | | |
