Every animal that comes to us has a special story. There is usually a lot of heartache and trauma involved, but once the animals get to Windhorse Sanctuary they receive all the care they need. The horses enjoy green pastures and the shelter of a barn in bad weather, the dogs run and play and swim in the pond and the cats enjoy their indoor/outdoor habitat, complete with jungle gym. All receive nutritious food and top quality medical care.
